We pray for those being ordained Deacon on Sunday

First published on: 22nd June 2018

Bishop Paul will be ordaining 14 women and men to serve as deacon in our Diocese. All are welcome to this Sunday's (24th June) service at Liverpool Cathedral starting at 10:30 am. With the large numbers of candidates, we are expecting to be busy, so come in plenty of time. We will also be trying to cover parts of the service on Facebook live so check into our diocesan page on Sunday morning.

Ahead of the ordinations, Bishop Paul said,

"Sunday is another wonderful day in the life of our Diocese; I am privileged to ordain fourteen of my sisters and brothers in Christ to the diaconate. This vital ministry calls them to “reach into the forgotten corners of the world, that the love of Christ may be made visible”. I am confident that they will respond to that call, and I pray that they will indeed make a bigger difference in the lives of those they meet, reflecting God’s love, grace and glory."
