Part-Time Priest in Charge of Toxteth St Bede with St Clement (Interim)

We are looking for a two-year intentional part-time interim priest to prepare this inner-city church for a future new shape of ministry. This will include working with deanery and diocesan colleagues to evaluate existing and alternative revitalisation proposals, and working with the church to develop their plans to dispose of one of the two churches, by way of sale, lease or planting opportunity. This post needs someone who is skilled at change management and negotiating with a variety of different stakeholders. It involves being fully committed to the Liverpool Diocese's Fit for Mission strategy, as the Toxteth & Wavertree deanery is at an advanced stage of becoming part of Cohort 2.

Team Rector of Netherton and Sefton Team Ministry

We are two different churches in the sense of tradition, location and facility but with one desire to share God’s love with all people across our communities. As a team, we are a work in progress; we are exploring growth but find the necessary change challenging. We work together well but could do more; we strive to be inclusive but don't always get it right. We are looking for ways to be more sustainable and working towards Eco Church awards, but our circumstances and contexts can make this difficult.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Team Rector who will be sensitive to the contexts and needs of both parishes, in terms of mission, worship and demographic. To enable the clergy to focus on mission priorities and supporting worship, members of the PCC take responsibility for administrative matters such as finance, buildings and maintenance, the church diary and preparation of materials to support services.

We are offering you a supportive and welcoming church community who will respect your time off and the need to care for your own wellbeing and that of your family.  We commit to working with you, to being open to new ways of working and helping to provide the resources you need.

Part-Time Vicar of Blundellsands St Michael

We are a church which has been transformed by the Leading Your Church into Growth programme and we would wish to continue to build our church on its inspirational and motivational principles: welcoming young and old, encouraging a love of Bible reading and flexibly planning ahead under God’s guidance through widening our vision for his people in this place.

We are looking for a passionate and energetic vicar who will recognise gifts in others and encourage them to use them for God’s purposes and lead teams of volunteers to reach out to all ages and grow St Michael’s in the community.   We want a vicar who will lead us to a deeper love of God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

We are offering you a warm, welcoming and growing congregation who will support you both in prayer and practical aspects. We love to be actively involved in church services and events within and outside the church walls. We have a highly experienced PCC and team of Lay Readers, Church Wardens, Pastoral Assistant and Parish Administrator. We will be flexible in how you organise your week and know you need to take holidays and time off.
