Diocesan Synod met at the Hope Academy, Newton-le-Willows for the first time of the new synodical cycle.
With a mix of newly elected and returning members this meeting began with Eucharist andincluded an overview of how Synod works from Diocesan Secretary, Mike Eastwood.
Synod members divided into houses to elect members to a number of key roles and committees
Other items of business include a presentation on Digital Communications and a presentation on the Liverpool Diocesan Board of Finance budget.
