Church Urban Fund

The Resources Department assists with applications to the Church Urban Fund.

To be eligible the project needs to be directly tackling the effects of poverty and within the upper 10% most deprived area according to Indices of Multiple Deprivation (IMD). However, consideration may be given to an organisation or project that is serving a target group that is deemed to be intrinsically disadvantaged and not covered by the geographic IMD scores or domains i.e. homeless people, people with drug and alcohol problems, refugees and asylum seekers, or those working in the sex industry, etc.

It is important to note that priority will be given to projects identified by the Diocese as being key to the reduction of deprivation.
