Over the last few months, our Vocations Team has been reshaping with some new full and part-time staff. Here we introduce the team and their specific responsibilities to make it easier for you to make first contact with the person who can most quickly support you.
As we prepare to welcome Archbishop Stephen to deliver the 25th Archbishop Blanch lecture on November 22nd we speak to him about the lecture and the importance of Opening the Scriptures in today's society.
The theme for Black History Month 2022 is Time for Change: Action not Words. It aims to help and encourage all of us to follow up on the talking we’ve done over the last few years and do something that makes a difference.
The Diocese of Liverpool has published a summary of the independent report into past safeguarding cases. The review, known as the Past Cases Review 2, was one entered into by all dioceses of the Church of England as a response to the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse.

Our next Directions Course starts on Wednesday 18th January and will be at St Luke’s Church in Crosby.
Work has started in our first Fit for Mission cohorts as we support the local deaneries in this important area for us all. So we will be following their progress over the next months and years seeing what we are learning as together we become fit for mission.
