Cinnamon Brow Church of the Resurrection and of St Bridget formally welcomes its new vicar

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cinnamon Brow Church of the Resurrection and of St Bridget welcomed Revd Denise Williams as its new priest in charge with a special service on April 24th. The service, was led by the Bishop of Warrington, Bishop David, and the Archdeacon of Warrington offered a chance for the community to welcome their new vicar and her family to the parish.

Before arriving at Cinnamon Brow Church of the Resurrection and of St Bridget Denise was Assistant Curate at Christ Church Padgate.

Bishop David said “I am delighted, on behalf of the Diocese and Cinnamon Brow Church of the Resurrection and of St Bridget to formally welcome Denise to the parish. I am sure that she will make an excellent vicar for this parish and my prayer is that God will truly bless her as she works to show Jesus’ love for the local community.”

The Archdeacon of Warrington, Peter Bradley said “we are thrilled that Denise has been licensed to Cinnamon Brow Church of the Resurrection and of St Bridget and wish her every success with her ministry. Cinnamon Brow Church of the Resurrection and of St Bridget is a great church with much to offer and I am sure that Denise will be bringing fresh vigour to the local ministry”

Rev Denise Williams  said “ I am thrilled to be starting a new ministry here and would like to thank the congregation and the local community for their kind words of welcome. I look forward with joy to meeting and working with the community what I am sure will be a long a fruitful ministry here at the Church of the Resurrection and of St Bridget.
