The leadership for the Diocese is provided by our Bishops. Our Diocesan Bishop is the Right Reverend James Jones, Bishop of Liverpool. Bishop James has served the diocese for ten years.

Bishop James is supported by the Bishop Suffragan, the Bishop of Warrington. Bishop David Jennings served as Bishop of Warrington from 2000 to 2009. His successor is Bishop Richard Blackburn who was consecrated on Nov 3rd in York and welcomed to the Diocese on November 7th.
