Sunday 9th December - 3pm
During this simple but moving service the nativity story is re-told with children dressed as the familiar bible characters carrying figurines to place in the awaiting crib for the Blessing of the Crib.
At the end of the service many willing hands carry lines of carefully woven evergreens around the church, which are then hoisted up to form a complete ring around the church and the Christmas tree lights are turned swithced on.
The evergreens tell of Jesus as bringer of eternal life and the circle speaks of God always with us, the lights represent the baby, born to be the Light of the World.
Do come and join us, everybody is welcome.
