The Trustees are looking to appoint a female Chaplain on a part time basis to offer spiritual support to the residents and staff who may come from all faiths or none.
The charity was started back in 1823 and the main work today is Adelaide House Approved Premises which is situated in the Kensington District of Liverpool.
It provides residential support and interventions for women over 18 years.
The Trustees are looking to appoint a female Chaplain on a part time basis to offer spiritual support to the residents and staff who may come from all faiths or none.We are seeking a committed person of Christian background, Ordained or lay, with a calling to work for and with those in Adelaide House.The successful candidate would need to demonstrate a willingness to to be involved with the residents through practical activities as well as offering opportunities for spiritual reflection and growth.
HOURS:10 hours per week. This is a flexible working position the Chaplain being expected to work two or three sessions a week
RENUMERATION: Travel time is not included. Expenses paid.
Paid at the rate of Prison Chaplain, dependant on experience.
5% Pension contribution
Interviews will take place early January 2019.
The successful candidate will be appointed subject to satisfactory references from two referees and completion of a DBS check.
