Appointments:
Revd Simon Elliott – currently Team Vicar of Netherton and Sefton Team has been appointed as Team Vicar with ministry oversight for children and families mission of the Maghull and Melling Team. A date for his licensing service has not yet been set.
Revd Sam Korn – currently Vicar of Aintree St Giles has been appointed as Chaplain to St Mary Magdalene Academy, London. Sam will take up his new post on 20th August 2019 and will conduct his last service at St Giles on 1st August 2019.
Revd Gill Reeve – currently SSM Curate at Liverpool Norris Green Christ Church. Gill’s SSM curacy has been transferred to St Luke in the City Team and she will be formally licenced to her new benefice on 8th June 2019 by the Bishop of Liverpool.
Revd Neil Shaw – further to my clergy moves email of 24th April 2019 a date for Neil’s Commissioning as Area Dean has been set for 1st August 2019.
Posts Complete:
Revd Alan Finch – currently both OLM and Local Missional Leader has completed his role as Local Missional Leader but will continue as SSM to the Litherland and Orrell Hey Team Ministry.
Retirements:
Revd Canon Janet Roberts – currently Vicar of Blundellsands St Nicholas has announced her retirement on 6th October 2019. Janet will conduct her last service at St Nicholas on 8th September 2019.
