Church & Society is looking for a part time secretary to work alongside the Disability Awareness Officer. To become acclimatised with the job a considerable period of induction and training will be given which will amount to 140 hours spread over the first 4 months. Following this training period the post will be for 9 hours per week. Starting salary will be between £14,184 and £15,177 per year pro rata based on a 35 hour week. An efficient and organised person is required to provide administrative support for the Clergy Housing department within the Diocese of Liverpool. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral and have experience in using Microsoft Word and Outlook packages. They will be able to work on their own initiative and will be sensitive in dealing with confidential information. They must be in sympathy with the ethos of the Church of England. This is a full time position which will be based in St James’ House in Liverpool. Salary range: £18,360 - £19,243.
