Liverpool City Centre Street Pastors
Closely related to RiverForce and the Chaplaincy service is the Liverpool City Centre Street Pastors initiative.

Street Pastors is an international, inter-denominational Church response to urban issues, engaging with people on the streets to care, listen and dialogue.
Approaching 50 Street Pastors have already been recruited from across a wide range of Liverpool churches.

Working in direct partnership with Merseyside Police, volunteer Street Pastor Teams began patrolling the city centre from 1st October 2011.

Based in Church Street (through which revellers transit to and from the Consett Street and Matthew Street areas) Street Pastors patrol the city centre, and dispense refreshments & practical help as and when required.

Street Pastors are continuing to recruit for the city centre teams. Contact Clive Durham cjdurham@dsl.pipex.com
