Meet our new deacons

Following on from this year's ordination services, we explore the stories and calling of the final four of our new deacons.

Sarah O'Donoghue

Sarah is a fromer RE teacher and was Education Officer at Liverpool Cathedral. Sarah is especially interested in prayer ministry, in particular contemplative prayer and Ignatius Spirituality. Her parish is Christ Church Aughton.

Mohammad Eghtedarian

Mohammed is Liverpool Cathedral's second currate. He is originally from Iran and will take a key role in offering leadership to Sepas the Cathedral's  Iranian congregation.

Adam Maynard

Adam has a Arabic and Middle East Studies degree from St Andrews and it was whilst studying Arabic that he felt called into ministry.  Whilst on a semester abroad in Israel/Palestine, he experienced the presence of Jesus powerfully. Andrew is serving in Christ Church, Norris Green.

Darren Pollock

Darren is originally from Belfast and became a Christian at the age of 18, he wanted to go into missions and spent the best part of five years in Hong Kong as the youth director of St Andrews Kowloon.  Here he felt called and encouraged towards ordained ministry. He will be serving at Christ Church and Holy Trinity Walton Breck.
