Get your grant applications in for your summer activities

Several grant-making trusts have funds available which could support your playschemes and other projects - deadlines are approaching so don't miss out!

BBC Children in Need
BBC Children in Need has announced that the next application deadline for its Main Grants Programme will be May 2016. The deadline for the Small Grants Programme is 1 June 2016. Both programmes are open to charities and not for profit organisations delivering projects that focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged.
The Hilden Charitable Fund
The Hilden Charitable Fund has a small budget to help voluntary and community groups run Summer play schemes. Some priority will be given to projects which show they are inclusive of children from refugee families, and show BME involvement. The closing date for applications is Friday 20th May.
The Morgan Foundation
The Morgan Foundation specialises in supporting organisations helping children and families as well as the elderly, disabled and socially isolated. The PH Holt Foundation
The PH Holt Foundation supports charities which aim to make Merseyside a better place to live, particularly smaller grass roots organisations that find it difficult to attract funds.
The next closing date for applications is 1 May 2016.
