Bishop Paul said “the training and conferences we provide through St James House are invaluable aids to keeping us fit for mission. I am determined that parishes and clergy should be kept up to date about the latest theological and practical thinking to help them make a bigger difference in their church and in the community. I particularly commend the "Making it Easier" day next February. I hope every parish will send a representative to what promises to be an wide-ranging training event that will help to make it easier for you as leaders in mission in your own situation.”
Bishop Richard added “over my time in Liverpool I have been impressed by the range and quality of training our diocese provides. There’s some excellent, inspiring courses and conferences on offer this term. And I urge everyone to make sure they put the relevant dates in their diary. It would be madness for any individual to try to go to each one but with some planning my prayer is that as a parish you can cover all the main events."
